How much is left in the tank?

That game against the griz was a real ball buster for our team. Those two teams smacked the crap out of each other! I am quite sure that most of our team will be spending time with ice bags and in hot tubs this week trying to heal up.
I realize this is a huge opportunity for our team but how hard will it be to put forth another effort like they did last week? They have to be mentally and physically exhausted and I realize college football is an emotional game. Are there any ex-players out there that can shed some light on how hard the psychological rebound will be for these guys.

Good question. But looking at the faces of some of our guys coming off the field yesterday and then imagining their elation today when they found out they were, I am betting they get up for the game. Yeah, both sides took a beating, but these men are young and heal quickly (unlike my 40 year physique).

My guess is that there won't be a lot of hitting going on in practice this week.

With Groves out, I wouldn't mind hearing that Gazzerro was getting some reps in practice this week. He is fast, and doesn't mind hitting the hole hard. He may very well be our diamond in the ruff.

No shi*. I have been waiting too see if he would get some PT at tailback this regular season, but nope. Hopefully we'll put him in at some poin during the game and since they won't really have a scouting report on him, he will run all over the Furman D.

It hurt taking it off...I'm working on my next sig....I just figured it was only right to remove the former.
