Many us were down after yesterday's game with very little hope for our playoff chances. I was one of them. But our team has been given new life and it is critical that we take advantage of it.

Yes we deserve to be in the playoffs, but I don't any of us could ever have imagined we would be hosting. This is our chance to prove to the rest of 1-AA (FCS) that we belong with all the other big boys. We cannot let this chance go by because they are so few and far between.

Our fans need to come out in droves and fill Bobcat Stadium to capacity. Thanksgiving comes every year, but home playoff games don't. We need to be loud. We need to be relentless. And we need to be supportive. Our Cats need to come out with fire and play like they did yesterday. For you seniors who thought your playing career was over, guess again. You have another chance to don the blue and gold and in front of your own fans!.

I agree. This is huge. If we blow this...heck I'm not even going to think about it. We can't blow it-failure is not an option.

I can't believe we are playing @ your stadium. Durn. Oh well, them's the breaks - good luck to both teams.

You know what a tradition is at Montana State...
(There is gentle, faraway look in his eyes as he recalls the boy's words.)

with all they got and win just one for the Weezer...
(his eyes become misty and his voice is unsteady as he finishes.)
I don't know where I'll be then", he said - "but
I'll know about it - and I'll be happy."

There is a hushed stillness as the crowd of boys look at each other. In the midst of this tense silence, Jefferson quietly says to the men beside him "Well, what are we waiting for?!?!"

With a single roar, the Bobcats mightily rush through the doorway and on to Victory!!!

I attended the senior banquet tonight and this second chance is not going to be wasted. At the end Kramer gave a little speech how this opportunity is "The Next Step" for bobcat football. I cannot describe the feeling I got when looking at the players faces of determination and pride. You could feel it in the air. We got this all the way.

I've got to work the night shift at the lab this whole next week. Which means I will be getting off of work at 8am Sat...back to work 930pm Sat. I dont think I'm even going to sleep that day!
