Whoever has the higher bid.KillintheGriz wrote:If we beat Furman and App state and Youngstown loses, who will host the 3rd round game? MSU or lower part of bracket?

Highest remaining seed (I know, 5-8 aren't seeds) but....will host. Couple of years ago the school we lost to yesterday got the benefit of higher seeds losing the first round.KillintheGriz wrote:If we beat Furman and App state and Youngstown loses, who will host the 3rd round game? Thanks, so we must be the 7th seed? i can't tell in the bracket. If this is the case, we only get one at home.Cat Grad wrote:Highest remaining seed (I know, 5-8 aren't seeds) but....will host. If we beat Furman and Coastal Carolina loses, we'd host another team from Carolina! How cool would that be?KillintheGriz wrote:Thanks, so we must be the 7th seed? i can't tell in the bracket. Only the first four teams are seeded.....ASU, UM, UMass, and YSU are guaranteed home games. After that the home team is determined by the cash bid that each University makes to the NCAA which is determined by the turnout that each team draws.

I seriously doubt anybody has a higher bid than us for this eventuality right now.Sportin' Life wrote:Only the first four teams are seeded.....ASU, UM, UMass, and YSU are guaranteed home games. Well, they picked the best one to have on ESPN - two 9-2 teams. That should be a verrrry good game...torrybruce wrote:we don't have that one...App St vs. CC is on ESPNU and Youngstown vs. JMU is the night game on ESPN.
hopefull altitude will pick it up...they are a good broadcast crew
