Tough game to lose

It felt like the loss in '97. Just too close to feel like we really didn't win it.

Were you in the stands that year? I was in the student section, I and about 200 other students were crying our eyes out after the griz last second comeback.

I'll never forget that game either. I didn't even really believe it for a while.

No, I was mid-internship. We went up to Minneapolis to watch the game at a satalite party. The saddest thing for me was to see Neil Smith standing in the middle of the field with his head hanging. Neil and I shared classes through most of college.

At the point that we had it in the bag, men were hugging, girls were giving up kisses, it was freakin euphoric. For some odd reason, this year, I have that kicked in the gut feeling again. Hasnt happend for a long time, but Chio is right, this one is starting to give me that same ol feeling...again

Who was the pissed off cowboy at the end of that game (1997) who flew the double bird in the TV camera mans face? It was a classic. I have seen them play that on the big screen in stinkville.
