Cats Played with Heart

As I was walking out of the stadium today after the game, the Cat players were coming down the concourse after leaving the field. Force had tears streaming down his face. Lowe looked as if he were ready to cry. Big Joe Hirst looked as if he couldn't take another step. Most of the guys were still pretty emotional. Before anybody starts pointing fingers at anyone and says someone on the team didn't play with heart and emotion, think again. Our guys laid it all out on the line and as the Big Human would say, played their guts out. I felt compelled to yell out to Lowe and told him to keep his head held high; that there was nothing to ashamed of. I leaned over the fence and shook his hand to say thanks for a great season and great career as a Bobcat. Our guys played a hell of game against a really good Griz team on their home turf. Once again, I am proud to be a Bobcat.

Completely agree. As I posted in another thread, the players put everything they had into this one. I walked out of Wa/Griz a disappointed, but extremely proud Bobcat fan and alum. That was a great group of Seniors and they gave their all. Even though they go out on a down note, they absolutely should not hang their heads. Stand tall and proud, you accomplished alot this season and I thank you for all you gave for MSU!

The players, especially this group of seniors, went out there and played their hearts out, and I hate to see their season and careers come to the end. They played so hard and represented MSU so well, winning 27 games as Bobcats. That's an excellent record, and I wish each and every player well and I want them to know that all of the Bobcat fans are proud of what they have done. Nice work, fellas.
