Let's try to keep it within 20 tonight.

45-41 Portland leads with 8:00 in the 2nd half. It is nice to see them competing, things are going to turn around with this team sooner rather than later!

Dang, close but we couldn't pull it out. The FTs hurt us in the second half, but things are already looking up for MSU hoops after those two bad losses. Final score was 59-53.
Overall, great game, our girls win and tomorrow our Football team will make this a great weekend!

This game was a great improvement over the last two, and how about Carlos Taylor? I was really impressed with his 3 point stroke tonight. It was a good game, but this team has to hit some free throws. It needs to be fixed soon, but overall that was a great improvement and a great effort by the team tonight. Now they'll play at Idaho on Sunday afternoon with a chance to get the win.

Much better game than the last two. Much better defense and rebounding, though there were a lot of 2nd chance points for UP in the first half.
Our problem tonight was freethrows. Only hit around 50% for the game. If we make 75%, we most likely win the game, or are in OT right now...
Carlos Taylor had 19 points and hit 6 threes. Casey had 9 points in the first half. Ted was a rebounding monster tonight - close to a double double.
I still say Zamora should not see the floor. He had 2 fouls in limited minutes. He did block a shot.

A good effort. We shot less than 30% in the second half and only 33% for the game-and terrible from the freethrow line. Hopefully that will start to come along as the season progresses. Despite all that and being on the road we lose by single digits. Reason to be hopeful.
We need Dissly back-I hope he's a quick healer.

Yeah - they had PSU favored by 9 in this one before tipoff and I thought PSU would cover that spread easily. Great effort by the 'Cats.

Free throws were not a problem up until this point. I don't think it will take much to fix. I can't wait to see Diss back, however.
