Does anyone know how this will be handled? Luckily I'll be there in person but please tell me that Bobcat fans watching on TV don't need to listen to Jeremy Jorgasmson, as I've begun to call him? Man, what a homer. Fingers on a chalkboard that guy...

Jeremy is the WORST announcer of all. Please, anyone BUT JJ. I have no clue who is announcing in answer to your question.

From MSU's website:
Television: KPAX (Jeremy Jorgensen, Mike Callaghan, Grady Bennett)

Ugh...
That Bennett guy's a total Barney, too. What a treat we're in for -- a bunch of grown men slobbering all over the Griz.

Am I the only one that is reminded Chris Farley on "The Chris Farley Show" from SNL when ever Jeremy Jorgensen is interviewing Hauck on the "Bobby Hauck Show."
Um...member...um.. when Tuff returned that punt for a touchdown...That was awesome

Okay, you can rip on Jorgensen. But to suggest that Grady is poor simply indicates that you either know nothing about football, or just dislike everything remotely associated with the Griz program. Grady knows more about football than every poster on this board put together. And he's pretty damn good on TV as well.

Callaghan is a former Cat player, I doubt he will be slobbering over the Griz, although he is a pretty smart guy so he might. Plus he is the best coach in Little Griz, so he might slobber over Napa's multi-years of undefeated seasons.

Doesn't anybody remember Greyson Davis who worked for the TV station in Missoula maybe 6 years ago. He absolutely made me ill. Was an embarrassment to the state for some comments he would make when the game wasn't going his way.

I think Callaghan and Bennett should make a good broadcast. They both know the programs and know football very well. If they can control the broadcast and keep Jorgensen quite it should be a pretty quality broadcast.

That's a good one. I was thinking more of Rob Schneider's Orgasm Man...
It always seems to me that the Cat-griz TV broadcast is 3 griz (2 in the booth and 1 on the sideline) and one token Bobcat who may or may not have seen the Cats actually play in the last 10 years. Then there's maybe 375 shots of Hauck marching the sideline and maybe 2 of Kramer.
Grady Bennett does a credible job in my opinion.
I must say, the football broadcast is usually more balanced than basketball.

I think Grady does a good job. He at least knows what he is talking about.
Jeremy blows. He is a bandwagon griz fan. When he did the sports on the news in Great Falls he was also a big Nebraska fan.
It could be worse though. Imagine having Gurnsey and Hollein doing the television broadcast. They have to be the worst homers in broadcast history. If you listen to them every penalty called on them is questionable and the griz opponent commits a penalty on every other play that is never called.
I am going to Missoula and will hopefully find tickets to the game and won't have to listen to anything other than griz fans crying.

Ha, Ha, I'm so glad I'm not the only one that thought that. This guy is such a stooge, he doesn't even know how to ask a question that doesn't end in "...that was a big play wasn't it?"

That does no make him a good TV Sports Announcer!!!!! I can not stand the Griz games with that trio.

I think the best bet for anyone who can't stand their announcers is to mute the TV and turn on the radio.

Whenever I've done that the games weren't synced up and everytime the announcers would get excited about a big play the ball was just being snapped...kinda gets annoying...but hey it might be better than the three stooges announcing the grizzly game...I really wish this was an altitude broadcast...they do good and are fairly unbiased in any game...plus the camera work is much better...not always showing the random goofy looking fan cheering because their friend just bought a ticket for the 50/50 raffle.
