Anyone seen a point spread for the game? If so, where at?

I had heard Griz by 3.5 a couple of days ago, but I have no idea from whom or where they got that information.

Big help, huh?

Hummmm... They should get 3.5 just for playing at home. I was guessing it would be about 5.5 or 6.5 with 3.5 for being at home and few more points for the rankings and records. I need to find out soon, so I can get bets rolling with the Dark Side.

Do you mean this post by me?
nevadacat wrote:MSU -3.5 @ UM
First of all, MSU is minus 3.5, so the Cats are favored, not the Griz.

Second, its unlikely one would find betting lines for I-AA football, other than a few particular games with I-A opponents. None of the major books in Vegas or internet sites have them that I can find.

The CATS are favored by 3.5 at Nevadacat Sports Book & Bearskin Emporium in Las Vegas.

WHAT???????? You been getting free doubles at the Black Jack tables all day? The Cats favored by 3.5. You gotta be drunk! There isn't a snowballs chance in NEVADA that the Cats would be a favorite.

Now, would somebody seriously let me know if they see a legitimate line on this game.

It was a joke, and it went a mile over your head, apparently.

Just take the Cats straight up. Or is it a griz fan that wants the points?

I read over on that other web site that one griz fan said that evry CAT fan wants points. I would be him straight up, but I don't bet with my heart.

I really think that we can win the game, as difficult and hard faught as it will be.

Nope, I'm more of a craps player. Too hard to count cards with all those free drinks.

On Saturday, the Griz will roll snake-eyes. Get the point?

I just talked to a buddy who bets a lot of football. He said that the Griz are -4 on the website he uses. He said you have to have an account to be able to view the info.

He's one of those d*m Gr*z fans and said he's happy to take any bets from Bobcat fans.

I say we all make bets and break him

Seriously, Griz -4 sounds pretty darn good for a line. I thought they would have been favored by more from the so-called "experts."

Doesn't matter, because we'll beat them straight up, anyway.

This all reminds me of the Griz/Cat game back with the famous or imfamous field goal.

A guy in Stevensville/Florence was betting everyone in the bar that the cats would win. When msu went up with 30 seconds left he started popping of wanting all of his money (around 1000 dollars). Then the out of bounds kick, two pass plays and the Griz win.

This guy goes nuts and has to be put in a straight jacket and halled off to the looney bin.

The brilliant part on his part is that I dont ever think he paid the bet off.

Who would take the money of a crazy person???

I'm going to take some money from a couple crazies I was associating with last night at the local cantina. They both gave me 9 points. I couldn't shake there hands fast enough. I couldn't belive it 9 points for $25 each. I got 2 other bets for $25 each where I got 4 and 2 points respctively and then I have a long standing bet of $100 with a friend that we don't give points on (i've been getting screwed on this one until recently, but we've had it going since about 94 or 95, so i'm still quite a bit short on it.) Got a few boys around the office here that are running there mouths alot, but not willing put the money up. I'll have them shammed into by tomorrow afternoon.

You brought the "Field Goal" game up.......that one really hurt. I was at the Hide Out in Boozetown that year and there was some fist a cuff going on after that one. There must have been 30 or 40 Griz fans and they went nuts when that field goal went thru and that didn't sit to well with the rest of us. I got out the side door (or i should say, i was helped out the side door) just a Boozemans finest showed up so you could say i escaped with out any jail time (actually, I don't think anyone got any jail time).

Ohhhhh....the memories of Cat / Griz. Gotta love em'.

Wow... 9 points is foolish. They must not understand how hungry and determined this team is. As Ryan Force said, they're going to use this game to show the world that they're as good as they think they are. I don't think anybody can dispute that Kramer has assembled a team enought talent to beat anybody in the country... :D

These games between the griz and bobcats are always even in my book. You never know who is going to step up their game in this one. It only takes 3 or 4 plays to turn a game and who can capitalizes on the other miscues. Bad thing is I catch everything all on tape. I like high scoring games with big plays it makes the film and filmer look good, but it is a Coaches nightmare! We look forward to greeting you in Washington Grizzly Stadium at the flip of the coin, then the gloves come off. May the best team win.

you can check out www.betus.com for sports betting. They have I-AA vs. I-AA games every week but they often times don't post them untill the day before or the day of the game because they don't have alot of info on the I-AA's. Last week we were favored by 10 over Cal Poly but most of our games don't get listed.

Good luck vs. the Griz!
