I got my tickets baby!!

Post by #34 » Wed Nov 15, 2006 1:55 pm

I just got my Cat/Griz tickets, Section 114, Row 8, Seats 25 & 26 and I can barely contain myself. This will be my first game in Missoula (could never bring myself to pay to go to Missoula), and I was hoping to get some info from everyone. Where is Section 114 (visitors, students, etc.)? What are the tailgate options for Cat fans? Where in the hell do I park? How can I get more of Barechest's thundersticks? How am I ever going to fall asleep Friday night? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Cats 20
Griz 13

It's great that you got tickets but they are, IMO, in the worst spot in the stadium. The big screen is behind you, the restrooms are quite the jaunt as well as the concessions. You'll have a good time though.

I hope most of the Griz fans you run into aren't of the "village idot" type. Every school has them. Hopefully it'll just be fun ribbing.

Thanks for the imput...any seat is better than my couch at home. Plus, I couldn't pass the tickets up, great price...free! As for the village idiots, I can handle them if they can handle me.

Speaking of this...if you are a Cat fan traveling to Missoula or a Griz fan in Missoula how about we all enjoy the game, enjoy a little good natured joking, but PLEASE don't be an idiot! Treat the rival fans with respect and have some fun!! This rivalry makes many people act stupid and if we can all represent our schools well that would be awesome.

Usually it's around the 101,102 sections. But for Cat/Griz (most years anyway) I've seen quite a few in section 130 and 112 or 114. You could be in a section with Cat fans.

112-114 are visitors, 101 and 102 are now Griz season ticket sections primarily.

I'm picking up my tickets today.

Thunderstix will be available at the Bobcat tailgate.

Cat/Griz special $1/pair (OK that's the price from now on until I get them all sold :) )

MSU Alumni will be hosting a party on Friday night at the Double Tree Hotel, and a tailgate party on Saturday at 10:00 across the street from WGS on the corner of Campus Dr. and Van Buren. There web site is at alumni.montana.edu/events/catgriz/

Anybody else hear the rumor that there about 1000 counterfeit tickets being sold.

I've only heard this from one person but was wondering if anybody else had heard it.

I'm going as well, but not sure yet where I am sitting. I am supposed to pick the tickets up Saturday morning at a breakfast function.

On a related note, I'm looking for a ride back from Missoula Saturday after the game. The guy I'm riding up with is going to stay in the area to hunt until Tuesday, so I could sure use a ride back to Belgrade/Bozeman...I can help with gas $. If anyone is willing to give a guy they have never met a ride, PM me. Thanks in advanced.

If all else fails, maybe I can sleep on Swilly's mom and dad's couch.

Edit: Got things all worked out, no worries.
