Mick is on the Sports Nuts today and should be added to the group full time. He is great to listen to, knows a lot about all the sports discussed and is funny. He was talking about refs as he can do that now. He said against Utah Valley State it is sometimes 5 visitors against 8 homers(5 players and 3 refs). Classic, I love that he can say the things you know he always wanted to while coaching.

Awesome! Yeah, I bet Mick will make a very good sports commentator! He does have that dry type humor which makes you laugh!

Mick was a great teacher, too. His BB coaching classes were always interesting. When I coached HS BB, I was always going back to my notes from class.

and to sign off today he said "Well I guess I can step out of here and be critiqued" to which Dean said "Around here you critique yourself" Nice to see that he can have a little fun with the whole situation.

I reallly hope they bring him on as a regular. He adds a good third dimension to the show.

You guys are making me so jealous!!!! I really really wish they would stream the audio of the Sports Nut. I have heard, though, that the radio that airs the sport nut is a little tech. challenged. I hear they just bought their first fax machine!!

Retirement must be very liberating!

there is probibly legal reasons why they dont have an audio stream (ill bet you hannity and O'reilly, the programs after the morning show and sports nuts, will object to a free internet stream of their program when they can make $$ by making fans of their personalities pay to listen to the webstream)...

other then that i am in denyal that they dont have a person with the skills to set up a internet stream..

I have a radio show, The RedZone, on 1450 AM on Saturdays from 5-6. We will look into getting Mick onto our show. Fortunately, you can go to tangooch.podomatic.com and listen to our shows so if we get Mick you will be able to listen to a podcast!

So I forgot to mention that Mick was back on the show on Tuesday and even better than Monday. I didn't get to catch the show yesterday, but I hope they do think about bringing him on regularly. He is very good on the show!
