This is pretty bad. Unless Tech brought in some new players. They have been the worst team in the Frontier for years.

This one had to be one of the ugliest games I've seen in a long time, if not ever seen. The Bobcats were trying to push the tempo, and they'd take 5 seconds off of the shot clock and then put up some very ugly shots. Overall, there were a lot of ugly shots on the part of the Bobcats. Three of last year's starters had two minutes of playing time between them. I'm starting to think something is going on here. Maybe Tech has improved big time this season, but the Bobcat girls need to take more time and find a better shot if they're going to be successful this season. There's a long way to go.

This looks to be a rebuilding year for MSU basketball. However a D-1 team should never lose to a NAIA school.

I'm not completely sure about that, but I saw a lot of bad shots and even some selfish play. It seemed like a lot of the girls worried about being on a short leash. The girls hustled today when they were in there, but I might have to agree with you, Hells, on this. It didn't seem like they had a lot of heart.

I disagree, I think the lady cats looked like they had a lot of comradarie. It didn't it looked like any players were on a short leash. I liked the up tempo but the problem was they missed a ton of easy shots. It was agonizing to see them get these little layups and not be able to put them in the hoop. Yes they have some real work ahead of them but I think this coach is going to be excellent. This is a work in progress. You can't cure all the ills in one year.

I feel we need to put this program in perspective. They were off the charts befor Binford got here.

If by "off the charts" you mean MSU WBB was better before Binford, you are correct. I recall Kuderna won at least 7 games, and Potera before him at least twice as many. The season is young and the girls are terrific. But it was hard to miss the despair in Binfords voice during the post game radio interview after her recruits failed outshine the players she inherited from the above coaches.

Well I guess our football team has proven that you can rebound from an embarrassing loss. Both our basketball teams now have a horrendous losses to overcome. But this loss by the ladies might be the worst ever.

They did beat MSU-B last week.

I think losing Herringer right before the start of the season really put them behind the eight ball.

Wow, you guys are really tough. Yes, this was a tough loss tonight but there is time to rebound. I really feel we have a quality coach in Binford. The players seem to enjoy playing for her. Yes, the prior two coaches did better so far but we need to look at the long term. The prior two especially the wicked witch did good but left a disaster. Kundra was a good coach and a good man but we needed a fesh start. Another year of recruiting will give Coach Binford a good nucleus and I am sure they will produce! It is going to be the same on thee m men's side of the house!
