Judging by the statistics and the direction of these two teams, you’d have to figure Montana State wins in a blowout. The Bobcats have won five games in a row, and have generally alternated big games from the offense with clutch efforts from the defense in that span. They are throwing for 244.7 yards per game and quarterback Jack Rolovich has seven touchdown passes in the last three games, though he has completed less than 50 percent of his passes. Wide receiver Michael Jefferson (805 yards, 8 TD) took over wins against Northern Arizona and Idaho State, and running back Aaron Mason (529 yards, 6 TD) has a few big efforts of his own. The defense came up with a big play when Michael Beach returned an interception for a touchdown in the fourth quarter of a 24-18 win against Weber State last week, and that unit has given up 18 points or less in three of the last four games while holding opposing running games to 102 yards per contest. That should all be good news against a Northern Colorado team that is winless in its first Big Sky season, doesn’t do anything particularly well, and has dealt with off-the-field turmoil all year. The Bears have a horrendous three touchdowns with 14 interceptions through the air, and running back Andre Wilson (722 yards, 4 TD) has suffered from the offense around him and will likely struggle against a tough Bobcat run defense. The defense isn’t any better, and the Bobcats should be able to name their score. While that should happen, that just isn’t usually Montana State’s style. They are well-known for pulling games out in the fourth quarter, and nothing ever seems to come easy. The Bobcats could get caught in a sandwich between a tough win and the biggest game of the year coming up in two weeks. They pull away for a win, but as usual it won’t be a blowout.
Prediction: Montana State 31, Northern Colorado 20
3 TDs to 14 INTs? Wow!

Well if he picked the "Babcats", as your thread is titled, then we are ok.
But if he picked the "Bobcats" as I think you meant to type, then I have a jinx to break.
Once again, I am up to the task.

Yes....it's jinx-breaking time.
2 packs of cigarettes smoked in my left hand. 3 packs of menthol cigarettes smoked with no hands. While drinking a case of Rainier, and standing on one leg.
