I know Northern Colorado is terrible, but...

Its the type of game that MSU usually plays poorly in.
If the Cats are looking ahead they might faulter.

Not snipping just wondering if there is concern in boozemanville.

I would say I am a little nervous about the Cats overlooking them, but our players and coaches also know that one slip up and our playoff hopes are done. We should be able to use the Chadron State game as motivation to not let another team come to Bozeman and overlook them.

I won't go so far as to say we'll play our best game of the season on Saturday, but there has been people pondering this question in one format or another for the past 5 weeks. The coaches just simply aren't going to let the players forget about what happened earlier this season. And in that way, that translates into not looking past Northern Colorado.

We better pop them in the mouth early otherwise I think this is a nailbiter game. WE NEED TO GET THE RUNNING GAME GOING THIS WEEK. We better come to play that is for sure as UNC is not going to lie down for us nor do they have anything to lose (Trick Plays). So our players better be ready if they don't want to face an embarrassing loss like that one would be if we falter.

I hope the Cats would not overlook them and I am always nervous about a game like this. Like everyone has said though, I think that the coaches will use the Chadron State game as evidence that we cannot afford to look past UNC.

That being said, the griz have to travel to UNC and that could be a game that they overlook as well. The griz fans have commented on how when teams play the griz it is their "superbowl" . UNC would love to knock off the griz in their first season in the Big Sky. Could be a tough game for either team if they do not come to play.

My perfect Scenario - Griz lose to CaL Poly, lose at UNC and then lose to the Cats to go 7-4 :) Boy wouldnt' that be something :)

Christmas would indeed come early. I bet they would still get an at large somehow.

The Cats aren't going to overlook UNC because they can't. I like the fact that they have an off week before the Griz because they can totally concentrate on Northern Colorado. The players and coaches should realize they got away with one against Weber and should really come out to play. We are a better team with more talent and more to play for then UNC and that will transcend onto the field. I look for good performances from both the O and D and pray for minimal mistakes on special teams. This is a game that the Cats used to find a way to loose and it ain't happening anymore. Look out UNC because this is a tune up game for us and our last Regular Season Home Game of the year. Get out and support your Bobcats.

Dream on....kinda like the wet dream you all had on this Board in August...that the Griz would be 6-5 and end up third or fourth in the Conference..how did that work out for ya?? 8)

Oh yeah, I'm sure they would somehow sneek in there as the $$$$ couldn't be overlooked ;)

Personally I always said you'd lose a min. of 3, max of 5. Still sticking with that...

Iowa, Poly and the Cats? Seems like that fits nicely into the "minimum of 3" category. I like.

Cats have been in the playoffs since EWU. Lose and they're out of the playoffs. They won't look past UNC 'cause its a playoff game.

I'm less worried about them overlooking NC than I am about them playing tight and afraid of losing. The best thing the Cats can do is to go out there and have fun. They need to think, sure... we can't have stupid penalties and the like. But they should go into this game confident. They should feel really good about the win streak and not be afraid to play loud and proud. To the players, it really is okay to dominate this team (or any team)!!! Just do it!!!
