Since Celtic is a little behind I will fill in:

WSU at MSU: MSU puts together its first complete game of the season. Even special teams gets a score. We lead 17-3 at half and the second half starts with a WSU turnover and we role 35-3.

ISU at UM: Swogger has 3 interceptions in the first half. ISU up 21-3. Hauck puts CB in the second half. He completes 12 straight passes but all of them for only one yard each. ISU wins 35-10.

Between work and school I am finding it harder to get energy for my predictions than I had originally hoped. :P Also I'm very lazy.

Another big difference between the GRIZ and cats. Most Griz want the cats to win, most cats want the GRIZ to lose.

I like watching the griz win. I just don't like watching their bandwagoners act as if they were personally responsible for the win.

That’s exactly how I feel about the cats. With a full 50 plus percent of your fans firmly planted in the bandwagon camp, you can clearly see the problem.

And by the way, good luck this weekend.

I usually root for the Griz to win, however this weekend I will be rooting for an ISU upset. Not because I have deep hatred of the Griz, but because I am hoping the game on Nov. 18th is a true championship game. If the griz drop one to ISU (no way they are losing to UNC), then we have a realistic shot at both Cats and Griz going into Cat/Griz with 1 loss and winner takes all, absolutely NO chance of a tie again. While I would take a co-championship and the autobid if that is all we can get, I would much rather see the Brawl for all the marbles, winner is champ all alone.

Man did this take a turn for the worst! I did not mean nor do I think I implied that I wanted the griz to lose. It was just a little play with Celtic Cats weekly predictions (who is much better at it than me). The comment about CB completing 12 passes for 12 yards was funny, I don't care who you are. (Sorry Larry)

I agree with this completely. The situation I would love each and every year would be for the Cats and Griz to go into the final game undefeated. Knowing what I do after living all over the country (most of it in 1-AA land) is that Cat/Griz is the one 1-AA (or PCS or whatever it's called these days) rivalry game that EVERYONE knows about. (I'm not counting Harvard/Yale. Since the Ivy doesn't go to the playoffs, they don't count IMHO). As a result, I'd love for every Cat/Griz game to be a battle between #1 and #2 nationally. Biggest game of the year, right where it belongs. He11, I'd also like to see them somehow meet in Chatty for the trophy (but that's probably never going to happen). I've never "liked" the Griz, and never will, but I still enjoy seeing Montana kids do well no matter where they play (as long as the MSU brand of Montana kids are victorious in the last game of the year).
