This will be the most talented offense we have faced yet. If you think UC-Davis was good, you are in for a surprise. The Bengal passing game might not be as ridiculously effective, but they have a much better running game in #8 Josh Barnett. He already has 810 yards on 120 carries (6.8 YPC) and 5 TDs. The Bengals have the top running back yardage wise, to go along with the top quarterback, passing wise. But Gutierrez has thrown 5 INTs in the last two weeks to his 3 TDs, and has 11 TDs with 11 INTs.

We are going to have to make some plays like we did at Sac to keep their passing game modest, so we can focus on stopping Barnett. Barnett is coming off two 170+ rushing days, one against PSU.

Our offense is going to have to show up, because I don't see our defense holding them to under 20 points. The good news is their defense is about comparable to NAU (slightly better), and is 93rd in the nation. Watch out for #5 Pago Togafu (LB), this guy is a stud.

I definitely think that stopping the run has to be a focal point this week. Barnett is tough. If we limit his production it will force them into a one dimensional situation. At that point pressure on Guiterrez can lead to some poor decisions and our secondary can take advantage of some opportunities.
