Anybody got a valid copy of a One Card? I think I still remember how to produce quality reproductionsmsusportsinfo wrote:Student tickets for the 2006 Cat/Griz football game Nov. 18 in Missoula will be on sale from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM on Sunday, Oct. 22nd at the Bobcat Ticket Office (North Entrance of the Fieldhouse). You charge us plenty!!! Not sure about student ticks, but adult ones for the game last year in Bozo were about $50! Besides tickets at Wa-Griz in general are more expensive. Season tickets to Cat games are on average around $100, for Griz around $350. If you don't like the price, don't come, don't worry there are enough Griz fans to fill all the seats!!!STREETCAT wrote:WOW FTG!!!longhorn_22 wrote:$50?!

Not to defend UM or anything ... but $50 is quite reasonable for a top-flight sporting event. It is expensive, but much less so than many less-exciting and less-exclusive events. If you have a chance, pay the price (credit card debt can be paid off when you graduate ... I am the poster child for it) and enjoy a truly unqiue event.
But I definitely agree that MSU should be charging just as much for visiting student tickets for that game as well.

I don't know - $50 seems a little too high IMO for a Big Sky venue. Here is what I remember paying for recent Cat road games:
$35 - Oklahoma State
$50 - Colorado
$25 - Wyoming
$30 - Colorado State (somewhere around $30)
$17 - Weber State
I guess it people pay it then how can you blame them but $50 for a student ticket seems a bit high. Of course so does $750,000 for a two bedroom condo in the Bay Area and people pay that right BAC?

But those games were the crap games on their schedules (except for Weber). Cat-Griz is the biggest game of the year for both programs, which is why the tickets are in such demand.WYCAT wrote:I don't know - $50 seems a little too high IMO for a Big Sky venue. I guess my point is that this game is something truly special, and even though we would like to have something that great and still get a cheap ticket, it is understandable if a game like this has such drawing power that the tickets are going to be pricey. But it's worth it.
And yeah ... those condo prices are sickening.

I think I'll take my chances on ebay. Last year the tickets started out high, but they dropped within a few days of the game because people weren't bidding. Kinda like the Stones concert.

C'mon people...we all know the Griz think they rank right up there with the elite Div-1 conferences!LuvMaroon wrote:You charge us plenty!!! I guess I tend to agree with BAC, it is pretty steep but then again what other sporting event in Montana ever draws this type of interest. Supply and demand.
Besides, instead of getting mad think of this as extra ammunition for the smack boards. Griz fans are always talking about how the Griz are such a big draw all the other teams in the Big Sky raise ticket prices when they come to town. Now we can say the Cats are such a big draw we even force the mighty Griz to raise ticket prices when we come to town!

I see that UM is listed on stubhub.com as well, which is my personal preference for buying tickets as opposed to ebay.Egg Salad wrote:I think I'll take my chances on ebay.
