Now go back to being the team that played against Chadron and EWU for next weekend.

Go Vikings.

How could you guys lose to the griz? We were counting on you! What happened?

Give it a break. It was a slug fest down in Portland.

Why would the Cats be counting for a Griz loss? Either team's win would have had the same implications for the Cats. ????

The same reason some griz fans were "loving every minute" of our 3 game skid which had no implications towards the Griz season.

Do you need it explained further?

Well I guess you get to see how you measure up then in a week.

Care to start off the predictions Gavin?

I don't predict game scores. I don't even know what that has to do with my reply.

I'm just trying to make things clearer for some of our less-discerning posters.

Why don't you start us off, instead.

Got down 16-0 early with a QB who was really struggling (understatement of massive proportions). Made a switch to the new transfer QB (1 week of practice) and outscored the Grizzlies 20-10 from that point.

The Grizzlies have a great team, and it was a great game. My props go out to both programs.

For me, it was purely conference implications..if PSU win, Griz have a conference loss, PSU comes to town and Bobcats beat them, all three have a conference loss (not counting what everyone else is doing but maybe I should), then if things went ideally, the Cat/Griz would be for the BSC and potentially the Griz not a part of it if they lose...

That and I just can't stand the tv announcers for the Griz games....flat out homers (at one point the best comment their color guy could come up with was "and the griz are just so good"; that was just before Swogger threw the INT in the endzone). I actually started watching the game from a neutral stand point. But, the announcers just pissed me off.

Hmm. I'm sure there were a few that did. Lots of talk on the Smack Board by the usual suspects. Don't count me among them.

Congrats on the win again. And good luck against PSU. I'm glad we didn't have to play an entire game against their QB transfer. He looks like he's gonna make a lotta trouble in the Big Sky.
