Do we have two #88s?

Today's Chronicle had a picture of Jefferson making a catch but the caption said "Bobcat wide receiver Jamelle Banks...". I was surpised at the mistake since Jefferson is one of the "stars" on this team and I was curious how that mistake could be made. Well I jumped on msubobcats.com and saw that Jamelle Banks was listed as #88 along with Jefferson. Is Jamelle Banks still on our team?

The Chron probably saw banks as 88 on the roster and gave him credit for the catch. It was Jefferson's catch, tho.
I believe I saw banks wearing 81 and cathing/ dropping some punts during the second half warmups. Junior really has good things to say about this youngster.

Cool, I knew that was Jefferson in the picture, I was just curious if Banks was still on the team and what his new number was.
That is the one thing I am excited about is the young guys on this team. Remember the young guys that withstood the 0 and 11 season? They turned into a special group of players and maybe this next round of recruits will do the same!

Actually Banks is #19 according to the program on Saturday. I saw him catching punts before the second half.
