2006 Big Sky Conference Football Projections
This project started out small--charting the MSU football program--then ballooned into the entire conference. I hope you enjoy the charts and projections.

You had me hook, line and sinker until the prediction had ISU at 1-7. They have perhaps the best team they've had in years and even though they seem to find a way to lose...they do have NAU, WSU, SS and MSU at home where they are pretty tough(4-1 last season). Oh yeah, I think EWU will finish better than seventh but I am impressed on the data and in the BSC anything can happen!

ISU will probably have more than 1 win but they will have a below average year. The bottom 4-5 teams are tough to predict. All I look for are trends or nodal points (changes in trends or accelerations). ISU is at a nodal point and should continue to lose.Obzerver wrote:You had me hook, line and sinker until the prediction had ISU at 1-7. Pretty funny stuff! Can't wait till eGriz gets his eGriz bucks betting system on line. I'm still saying Griz are 10 - 1 for the OOC and Conference season. I would suggest you guys get over to eGriz and start earning your eGriz bucks so I can get them! Gtapp is going to be indebted to me for life I bet!!!!

I already am! You keep reminding me how great it is to be a Cat fan! But put me down for $1M egriz $ on the griz finishing third. Once I win I can buy a "griz suck" shirt on egriz shopping.

I've updated the website. I stated in my original article MSU should start winning after a loss to UC Davis. PSU is a strong team this year as projected. ISU looks stronger that I tought but at the end of the year they should be in the bottom 1/3 of the conference.

"The Bengals are in for a serious slide. This team will one of the biggest surprises in 2006—in regards to how they find a way to lose. I see turmoil and coaching changes coming for this program."
Interesting. ISU fans are calling for a coaching change. They've also lost two games they should have won.

"MSU lost against EWU so the Cats may be in for a volatile rest of the season. "
Volatile (in broker-speak) means, DOWN. Buying agressively? I would buy cautiously, in little increments, and be ready to bail if they don't make a higher low.
I think you buy the winner of the PSU-UM game, and sell the loser. They are both at technically significant turning points.

Montana State IS what "they" think Montana is.

MSU has a low risk/high reward trading opportunity. From EWU's loss, the risk is 4pts (games) with a reward of 20 pts (games) to first high and a 60 pt (game) rally to next high. This is a 5:1 short term and 15:1 reward/risk ratio. Buy aggressively. Enter into leveraged positions above trading range high. Avoid shorting PSU and write covered calls on UM as this program (stock) is entering a trading range where time premium can be captured without selling the stock.Bleedinbluengold wrote:"MSU lost against EWU so the Cats may be in for a volatile rest of the season.
