I can't remember and I am too lazy to look it up, but when does construction of the new boxes on the student side start? Does it start this spring or am I completely wrong about the boxes on that side being built at this time?

I believe it is next spring at the earliest. I could be wrong, but that's what I think I remember.

Yeah, I think I heard spring of 2007 or so. That is the projected date anyway.

I heard the same thing. Construction will begin when they have 50% (or something like that) of the money.

I don't think anyone has seen them other than the ones working on the project. I wish they would release something soon, though. If I remember correctly, the talk was to add seats to bowl in the north endzone that will cover the locker rooms. I think the south endzone seats will be renovated as well.

*Edit: I also forgot to mention that new press/luxury boxes would be added to the east side of the stadium as well at the top of that side of the stadium.

Last I heard (about 2 weeks ago) they are still in phase one of the capital campaign. They are soliciting the big donors. We small fries won't hear anything about it for awhile still.

I heard that i was just gonna be made into a horse shoe. but i might be wrong. cuz i saw many picture planes of the new sadium. i depends on the amount of money we get so i dont know.

I like the horseshoe idea. I like the view to the south of the mountains and I think it adds a lot to the experience of being at the game.

The only renovations that are going to be made to the stadium in the near future are adding the sky suites. Horseshoeing the stadium is not on the athletic department’s list of needs right now. Of course if we sell out each home game this season maybe it would make the list next year.

It will look just like the stadium at Ohio State! 100K+ capacity.

As i saw the picturesthey just re-do the endzone seats and counect it to all the other seats on both sides and they make a horse shoe. so i think they keep the lockers rooms and the other stuff the same.

but it all depends on $money!$
