Volleyball Updates?

Post by Bobcat4Ever » Tue Apr 04, 2006 5:45 pm

Spring volleyball is under way. Does anyone have any news on what's going on? New players? Everyone returning?

I think they are looking for a setter and rumor is that Kim Stonehouse had knee surgery.

Thanks, Spike.

Good luck to Kim! She's great and we need her.

Looking for a setter? We're always doing this, what's the story here? Setting was for sure the weak link of the team last year and I am still wondering why no one was playing during Kamber's senior year and being readied to take over the really nice team that we had last year.

So has someone left or are we just looking?

From what I have heard...someone has left. I agree, setting was weak and inconsistent. Makes it difficult to get any flow to the offence.

I too was critical of Sesler(?) last season; the offense never developed any consistent timing or rhythm and it all starts with the setter...

But, considering she was a Frosh, I thought all that experience MIGHT pay off in future years; is Sesler the player who's gone?

Sure hope Stonehouse heals up well; that girl can absolutely HAMMER the ball.

Yes, I do believe it is Sesler.
