Quarter Finals

Post by Prodigal Cat » Tue Dec 09, 2025 9:47 am

Went 4-4 versus the spread in round 2 and when you consider the craziness that happened, that's not terrible. 3-5 straight.

Villanova @ Tarleton -9.5. Tarleton might be finally getting some of the of the respect they deserved. UND lost a lot of games but almost all of them close. Montana by 1, NDSU by 5 and to SDSU in OT. They got whipped by the Texans. Lehigh was the better team but lost by not being able to finish drives, credit 'Nova they've won ugly all season. Tarleton wins and covers.

USD @ UM -7.5 Montana flying high after a big win. Looked the part. So did USD though and I could have won a lot of money on betting they would be the final Dakota team playing this season. This number is ugly but how many times do you see a team look unbeatable one week in the playoffs only to come down to earth the next *SDSU cough. UM wins but Yotes cover

Illinois St @ Davis -1.5 Davis is still the the most disrespected team left in the tourney. People crapped on them getting the 8 but what team should have gotten it over them? Redbirds slayed the giants by containing Paytons running and limited Bryce Lance to 1 catch. The game plan is basically the same for Davis. Ill St wins

SFA @ MSU -10.5 Line opened 9.5 but was bet quickly up. We've seen this team lay a dud and come back the next week and show who they are. This feels like a 35-17 type of game to me so  MSU covers.

FanDuel has it at -14.5 now. That’s a lot of movement in 3 days!

Solid. The last leg is 50/50 to me though.

Hit this little beauty. Felt like it was going to be a big Jones day. Needed the 4th qtr burst though as most his yards were swing passes in the first half.
