Played a heck of a game and is playing great this season. There could be a better Safety in the Big Sky but I haven't seen one.

Re: Big sky POW- Caden dowler
I'd have to believe that Caden is line for this again this week. In addition to his obvious interception stats last night, it seems like he had a large number of key tackles, some of them were really punishing. These Dowler boys are an incredible asset.

Re: Big sky POW- Caden dowler
Perhaps the most impressive thing I saw Caden do last night was not his interceptions but when after MSU was called for a questionable personal foul penalty to extend a Davis drive, he was the guy who was going around to his teammates encouraging them to calm down, not get upset and focus on the next play. MSU stopped Davis on the next three plays and then went down and scored to lead at the half. You can tell Caden has taken on a major leadership role on the defense, he is going to be a DPOY candidate for sure next season if he isn't already one this season.

He talked about that, not that particular play, but that mindset in the press conference.MSU01 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 16, 2025 9:18 amPerhaps the most impressive thing I saw Caden do last night was not his interceptions but when after MSU was called for a questionable personal foul penalty to extend a Davis drive, he was the guy who was going around to his teammates encouraging them to calm down, not get upset and focus on the next play. Re: Big sky POW- Caden dowler
Caden’s line on Saturday:
12 tackles
1 TFL
1 FF
1 pass breakup
2 INT (116 return yards and a TD)
Not too shabby.

The TV guy was impressed most by Caden’s rush for the TD following the first pick. It was an absolute clinic of keeping the head up, following his blockers, and finishing it off with a Weber player performing an air-tackle pirouette. Spectacular run.

Don’t know if it was mentioned in any other thread somewhere but after his second pick and return the PA guy in the stadium said something like “Which Dowler has the better returns?!” Thought that was pretty good. Love seeing Caden get his time to shine.Bobcat4Ever wrote: ↑Mon Nov 17, 2025 1:51 amThe TV guy was impressed most by Caden’s rush for the TD following the first pick.
