The Steel Trio
I've been acquainted with the Steel family from Sheridan, WYO, for decades. It was a very special time for me last weekend to see the boys wish their mother, Amy, a Happy Birthday on the scoreboard and very well deserved. Having Brock get an interception and Dane catch a TD pass was extra icing on her birthday cake. As a single mother, who lost her husband in a tragic boating accident when the 4 Steel kids were very young, she has done an exemplary job of raising them to be outstanding students & citizens. Does anyone know of any other Bobcat mothers who have had 3 sons play for the team? I'm curious to see what the "record" may be for brothers, who played for the Cats. I can remember the Uelands from back in the 1970's, but can't remember how many there were.
58-57!! You're final score!! Daniel Salle

Re: The Steel Trio
There was a thread a few months back that included brothers that played for the Cats. Anyway, three of the Perkins brothers played for the Cats in the past few years, all at the same time, and one of them is still on the team.TheJoeGoldstone wrote: ↑Tue Oct 14, 2025 7:52 amI've been acquainted with the Steel family from Sheridan, WYO, for decades. Edit: here is the thread.
Looks like numerous families with at least four members that have played for the Cats and at least one family with five. Some of those include parents though and maybe other relatives.
