The Officially Unofficial Game Day Thread - E Wash

Post by catscat » Fri Sep 26, 2025 11:19 pm

After too many games in a row on the red turf, Cats finally get the Eagles at home again.

After years of shift QBs and speedy receivers, the past few years have found the Eags to not be very high flying. Cats have a good run of wins over E Wash going and should take care of business Saturday if they play to their potential.

This game should further help our team sort out who they are.

Yell loud (even if it's just at the TV).

Can't make up my mind as to which is better - 55-21 or 48-14, but 34-11 will do, but 48-23 may be the best of all.

It’s going to be a gorgeous day at Bobcat stadium today, it’s 47 right now and should be 72 degrees for game time with blue skies and all the sunshine you can handle.

The Cats should get the “dub” with this game, but I’m hoping to see the offense take another step today. With Mastel back, the line should continue to get better and create opportunities for the backs as well as Lamson. I’d love to see some offensive purpose and rhythm, an indication that the offense will find their footing as the games become more important. I’d also like to see Sterbick finally break out and show a Field Generals gameplan for the offense that’s dominant, this many games in its time to finally see an obvious “growth and statement” performance where things click.

May be living out there in the next few years, but for today, tuning in from my couch in Billings.

I'll be about half way between the line of scrimmage and the line to gain \:D/

For what it’s worth, as of now, Mercyhurst is playing SDSU pretty well.

Jackrabbits are already up 17-0 before the end of the first quarter.

lol yea I spoke to soon. Rabbits were struggling to move the ball and Mercyhurst has had a number of bone head penalties.

I now live in Nevada, but we’re watching from a Bozeman hotel. Seems strange to be a tourist in Bozeman.

Why is Grebe covering the guy on the deep route

Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

Probably having both QB’s on the field at the same time through the defense off. That’s what I’m gonna go with!
