where do you rank EWU on the hate list......

where do you rank Eastern on the love to hate and/or Love to Beat list...
for me-
1. Griz. has to always be #1. Hate the griz, always will. Hate bobby hauck and his dumb nose. Nothing better then beating them.
2. Probably Eastern.... I just can't stand that program. They also had our number for a couple years back when they were good, which made me hate them more. The red turf is just god-awful... the players and coaches are very un-likeable...
3. NDSU.... we can never beat them and it really makes me hate them.... (could probably say NDSU/SDSU, as they both seem to own us... but I actually like the SDSU program, they dont seem to be arrogant pricks like the NDSU players and fans.)
4. Sac State.... Their school President is making me consider putting them at #1. What a worthless school and athletic program.
5. Idaho... always enjoy beating them.
anyway, can't wait for this weekend, hoping we beat that crap out of Eastern! go cats.

Top 3 seem right. You could argue that NDSU should be #2 based on recent history but I kind of still respect their greatness more than hate them. Plus we should have won the last two times so that's on us more than them.
I wouldn't have a problem listing UNCU/PSU/CP above Idaho, and maybe even Sac State, just because I hate that they are even in the conference.

EWU is 28-12; UM 26-14 vs MSU since 1983.

My Top 5:
(1) The Gris...they are the Texas of the FCS. Haven't done s*** in the past two decades-plus in relation to what they think of themselves.Gas was $1.47 a gallon the last time they won a National Championship. 90% of your current student body wasn't even born then. Stop talking so loud.
(2) Montana...June 2013 Infraction Report - booster payments, sponsored jail bail, obstruction, impermissable benefits, failure to monitor, failure to report, etc., etc. They were so good at scandals TMZ produced the video "Gris Gone Wild". Led by Mr. Personality, the lack of accountability was second to none. And then he was invited back. Huh.
(3) U of M...specifically their statistician, who currently has Robin Hauck leading the Big Sky Conference in 2025 tackles with 236 in 3 games.
(4) U of Montana...simply for their putrid color schemes. I have never, nor will I ever, look at those uniforms and think "Awwww...c'mon...those ain't TOO bad...."
(5) University of Montana...especially their older male fans, who find it necessary to comment on every Cat game instead of searching the Want Ads for gainful employment.

1. um - No explanation necessary
2. NDSU - Obviously respect the success, but their fans are almost as obnoxious as the griz fans. Maybe it's worse over here on the east side of the state.
3. Sac State - Especially recently. Good Riddance.
4. Northern Colorado - Clipboard Gate and Tiny Pants.
5. Rest of the Big Sky?
I actually have a lot of respect for EWU for all the success they had with so little resources. However, it doesn't hurt my feelings to see them struggle on the field lately.

My man.
ewooo is a 2/3 battle with NDSU for the same reasons. I'll also add that the eastern fans were insufferable for a while. Some still are. And what's worse, their stadium. which I've attended far too many times, especially recently, when it seemed like we played there three times in a row. To add to their insult of college stadiums, eastern is notorious for gouging MSU and griz fans on ticket prices.
I hope our Cats use this as a get-right game, and it's an all-gas, no prisoners taken, no quarter given type of game.

3. Sac State - They've quickly moved up the list with their 3 years of regular season success making their heads way too big. President is a really cool guy.
4. SDSU - It's hard not to hate a team that keeps squeaking by us. Plus, they've played dirty.

EWU will always be my #1 for their fans alone. At least when they were relevant. When they were winning games their trashy fans were hands down the worst I ever encountered. Now that they are back to their crappy irrelevant selves, I guess I don’t notice.
But I have said over and over that I would take the griz, their fans, and their stadium 100 out of 100 times over trashy EWU.

You’re kind of hard on the Cats. If the Griz haven’t done s*** in the past two decades-plus, the Cats haven’t done s*** in the past FOUR decades-plus. If the Griz are the Texas of the FCS, the Cats are the Maryland of the FCS. 100% of your student body wasn’t born 41 years ago. I don’t buy your logic. I have more faith in the Cats than you do.

In most cases the better you are the more haters you have. Fact!!
Griz are the worst and will always be #1. As far as other teams in different conferences that have had huge success in their programs I don't have them as a hated team. I rank any conference team in the Big Sky ranking them all Second in line following the the Griz.

I only hate the gris. I hate the eweu stadium, but I heard they are close to an upgrade.

I have trouble even making myself care about EWU at this point. I'd almost cheer for them just to see the conference get better.

1. Gris, always and forever.
2. SDSU/NDSU - at this point they blend together in terms of being sick of losing to them. NDSU fans are way worse though so may not be fair to lump SDSU in here but I'm doing it anyway.
3. EWOO - obnoxious fans and red turf, and they owned us for like 15 years.
Anything beyond that is mild disdain at best. Idaho was on their way with Eck (I did not like him) but blowing them out two times last year and then Eck leaving nipped that in the bud.

EWU was ahead of the Griz for me until Bobby came back. They are probably 3rd behind NDSU right now. It just always annoyed me to no end how good they were, year after year, and their fans just didn't care. Well all 10 that showed up did but they got so little involvement from the university and fanbase I was just like you guys don't deserve to be this good!
Plus, they are still typically good in basketball so I'm annoyed there too!!
