Catching Punts

I was thinking if I should make this a new thread or adding to an old one but I can't remember how long it's been that us Bobcat fans have been able to relax watching our Bobcats catch punts. Taco is truly amazing the way he nonchalantly catches the most difficult punts. Over his head running away, running up on them, chasing them to the boundary, and high spiraling punts in heavy wind. It's almost Madden-like! It's no wonder he's become Lamson's favorite target...and pretty much Tommy's. I feel he's got to be the all around MVP of this team because of what he contributes. He may not open holes in the line, block on rushing linemen, or run the ball like Ifanse, but we are lucky to have him around for as long as it's possible.

Let me just be the first person to point out that naming a thread with just a (star) player's name is going to cause a lot of heart attacks and angry responses. 8-[

Every time Taco is on the field it's exciting. I'm just starting to get used to his over the shoulder catches on punts. I can't wait for his next return TD.

Sorry, I didn't know that was a no-no. Excuse me!

Would the board moderators take this down. I don't want to offend anyone...geesh!

Kassis was pretty good at catching punts too.

Kassis was pretty good. I was just remembering what we went through during the Ash period trying to find someone who could catch one without muffing it. Finally Jordan Johnson brought some sanity to the excercise.

Cough cough....Jordan Johnson played for the griz...beat us when we were ranked #1 in the country that year at Cat/griz, and was also accused of sexual assault and was the subject of a book that geiz fans hate.

God, I knew it sounded strange but the name seemed like I should remember it. Leave it to me to remember "Shaun John" as the Griz anti-christ! Maybe old folks ought to just post comments on threads younger folks post...lol
