It was reported that Eckert was out, but he was rotating in throughout the game…?
No details on how serious the injuries are or not.

were there any injuries from the SDSU game? I think I remember one of the cornerbacks needing help off the field, not sure though?
any injury is bad... but not having Chris Long is brutal, hope he can get back sooner than later. We definitely missed him vs. SDSU.

Neil Daily- Elbow? game to game, dressed for SDSU, did not play.
Burke Mastel- Hand injury. game to game, dressed for SDSU, did not play.
Taki U- Not sure of the injury? Went out vs. Oregon, missed SDSU game.
Chris Long- "wearing a walking boot" prior to SDSU game. Not sure of exact injury or timeframe.
Jordan Reed- did not dress for SDSU game, not sure of the injury?
Taki was in a boot wheeling around on a push scooter.....so I assume he's quite a ways away.

Talked to Taki after the game. Said he needed surgery, but thought he could be back for Davis and gris.

I think Vigen and at least myself have a different opinion on what a ‘long period time’ is.

Just means they’re not season ending.

Could there be a “red shirt” used?

Mastel, Daily, Long, and Taki U have already used their normal redshirt years. If any of their injuries end up being season-ending then they could qualify for a medical redshirt.

Thank you. Glad some people keep up with the “red shirts”.

What's the thought process on dressing Mastel? If your center has a club on his hand he either can't play and shouldn't dress or if you dress him he should be playing. No way he should be the "emergency" center. The emergency is that we can't run block with everyone playing out of position, even against a non-scholarship team.

Run blocking was improved second half, not perfect but looking better. I think dressing up is so he can participate in pregame warmups and start acclimating to the game atmosphere. I’d love to see Long get back out there.

Dressing at home is fine because there isn’t the cap on players who can suit up like there is on the road. As mentioned, likely for pregame drills and such so when he’s healthy, he still has the same pregame routine.

Vigen said Long is closest to being ready. Sounds like he and Mastel might be available this week, but he said it's too early in the week to tell.
