CSG Bobcats - Flag handoff at Gold Rush?

Don't know if anyone follows him, but he pledged to walk a mile for every point the Cats lost by to Oregon. He started at midnight last night, and estimates he'll finish at 46 miles around 9pm.
It would be awesome if he did the Montana flag handoff to a Bobcat player before Gold Rush. That's total commitment.
Don't know if it could/would happen, but I'd like to see it for that young man.

Im pretty sure the Montana flag handoff has only been from a former MSU player from Montana to a current MSU player from Montana.

Bobcat athletics is a business to the coaches, school leadership, and players. It's time the fans treat Bobcat athletics as a business too.

Yeah - that could be right. But it would be great to acknowledge the young man in some way.....the flag was the first thing I thought of.

I don't know how much the team/school wants to acknowledge a fan that made a bet based on how much we would lose a game by. Vigen didn't seem to be a big fan of it at the end of his press conference yesterday. If he ended his walk at the tailgates on Saturday he'd probably get a much better reception.

Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!

His name is Kaden and he is from Miles City. I think we will see an acknowledgement of some sort on the big screen, I think he he at least deserves that. As of 4pm 36 of 46 miles walked, says he should be done by 9pm, and may not move after that for a day. Training room guys ought to let him use the ice bath. =D^

The State of Montana is Bobcat country.
missoula....still just 20 miles from Montana.

I walk 6-7 miles every day. I’ve done many ruck marches, 20 miles walks, run half marathons, marathons, various duathlons, and ridden my bike on many century rides and even a 500 mile ride. I couldn’t imagine walking 46 miles in a day. Tough young man.

I imagine he's grateful the Cats scored that TD late in the 4th...

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

while walking up Mt Fuji, about a 5 mile up trip, we were passed twice by an ultra marathon runner doing the 10 mile loop. and he may have started way earlier than us.7

This was covered by Shawn Rainey at Fox Missoula as well. Iwill give him props for doing that, even though I have been hard on him for being such a gris homer sports reporter.

That's awesome, and probably the right gesture of the support by the Athletic Dept.
