Oregon Prediction Thread

A little surprised we don't have a prediction thread for Saturday going yet! I'll start with...

Optimistic that MSU will be able to move the ball and score some points against Oregon's defense especially if backups enter the game in the second half, and hoping to see some good signs from the defense even though they're likely to give up a few big plays along the way. Go Cats!

I'm thinking something similar, probably 49-17. I think this defense is way better than 49 points surrendered but some growing pains will be expected with basically breaking in 3-4 new starters in the defensive backfield (two of them are redshirt freshmen).... against a top 5 FBS team... at their house. Those guys will take some lumps, but will be a great learning experience. I think we move the ball ok on them.

Still a comfortable win for them, but they’re breaking in a lot of new faces just like the Cats. I could see the Cats giving them a game and just not going away, maybe a late score to make it look a little closer.

I'm in this camp so I really want to see how they get there. Does Oregon run out to a 35-7 halftime lead and coast giving up a couple TD's late. Or do the Cats keep it somewhat uncomfortable for them at the half but they pull away late due to depth and just better talent. I hope its the latter.
