Some guy at dUMb named Wortham got 1st team for all-purpose. I've never heard of him. Otherwise lots of disrespect for dUMb (as expected). They put Gilman down at 3rd team, and some LB I've never heard of (Peyton Wing) as 3rd team.

Wortham is the transfer from EWU. He ripped off a 75-yard TD vs MSU last year. I think he fumbled a KO return that MSU turned into a TD.

This is all rather amusing. Their only 1st or 2nd team placement is an EWU transplant. EWU recruited and developed this guy. Where in the absolute hell has Bobbi 2.0 been? Are gris really happy about going 2-4 against the Cats and placing 6th, 3rd, 3rd, 6th, 1st, and 5th in conference? Absolute crap over there under Bobbi 2.0.

He's on their online roster, #32. I think he'll be very good for them, was the best player on a very bad Portland State defense the past couple seasons.

Surprised Gilman isn't 1st team or 2nd team before Jones. If it was me thats where I would go with it.

I wouldn’t. Statistically, they’re fairly even, but Jones made numerous big plays in big games, while Gillman didn’t. Jones is also a very smart/heady player who does things without the ball that don’t show up on the stat sheet.

The Cats have all home grown talent and the Friz have all transfers. Boobie doing work.

Agreed Tom. Gilman, while receiving a "load managed" Bobby workload in games, did have his best games against weak opponents and went almost completely silent against tougher competition.

Jones benefitted by his home run hitting ability, but that's part of Gilman's run game as well. Proof is in the pudding.

Side note: Julius Davis, if healthy, may also have a better season. He has been down in Florida this offseason working out with the likes of Jonathan Taylor and other NFL players. Believe both could be in contention for all american honors at the end of the day.

Wing was one of the few highlights from a putrid Portland State defense from last year, wouldn't have minded him over here for LB depth. Will see how he fits in Booby's elaborate, "hard to learn" defense.
