Does anyone know if Wehr has signed as a Free Agent?

As of this morning nothing yet ( however the article I found was last updated last night).

I’m shocked that he was not one of the first players to sign a FA deal.

Nothing yet for Wehr, which is truly puzzling.
If the knock is he's undersized, he tests outside the box.
If the knock is he went against poor competition, well...he graded out against it pretty much perfectly.
He has the best film of any offensive lineman we've ever covered. He's so athletic, so mean and utterly dominated people. He has position versatility and he's a pro athlete in his testing.
Very confusing. He'll get a shot. He just has to. If he doesn't, it would be unprecedented considering his PFF film grades....

Maybe he needed a different agent? I'm just really shocked.

One of the higher pre draft graded guys we've had here in a long time. This makes zero sense to me so far.

Everything should be known by the end of today. Brody still hasn't accepted his mini-vamp invite just fyi. Marcus has options and UFDA's haven't all been signed yet. Negotiations still ongoing.

It's less than 24 hours since the draft ended so I think a little patience would be warranted here. If common sense tells all of us that Wehr is good enough to get a shot with a team, then it will very likely happen. Not everyone signs immediately.

How do the other BSC picks look to everyone. And the NoDak and SoDak picks. Pretty fair representation.

How long do players have to sign FA deals or rookie camp invites?

Therms can make roster moves at any time, even after mini camp has occurred.

I guess Marcus has to keep proving people wrong. Unreal he didn't get a UFDA deal but it is what it is. If he isn't ultimately signed by Seattle, it will likely the be the kick-off to a team getting him signed to their 90-man. I just don't understand after you watch the tape how you don't at least envision this kid to be a stash on your practice squad as he keeps developing. OL evaluations in the NFL continue to be rigid at best. In Marcus' situation, you have a player who rarely gets beat or pushed back in the pocket and you have the NFL that is struggling mightily with quality interior OL play for the past five years. Good luck to Marcus.

I agree. I actually think it’s unreal he didn’t get drafted.

Kid has A+ tape and top tier workout numbers but....SHORT ARMS THOUGH!!!! Meanwhile GMs keep taking crappy guards and centers because they fit "the profile".

Don't kill the messenger - from two NFL team evaluations (negative only):
Wehr 6' 2 5/8" 298
Ave NFL G 6' 4 3/8" 315.8
• Shorter arms and smaller hands by NFL standards
• Will be outreached on a regular basis by NFL length
• Below average athleticism and lateral agility
• Overpowered lesser and lighter competition
• Stiff hips that struggle to convert additional needed power
• Undersized frame won’t work well in NFL
• Struggles with his twist recognition and response
• Struggles to adjust against moves across his face
• Pad level too high; not a natural knee bender
• Center of gravity issues
Marcus, now go show them what you are made of!

Happy he's at least getting a shot. Now it's on him to prove he belongs there, like we all know he does.
