Re: Paul Brott-Legacy #41
Not an easy decision, I'm sure. Both Eiden and Brott deserved to wear the number. I'm glad they still do the #41 patch too.

So does the legacy player receive a 5,000.00 check too ? Not sure what that’s about.

https://msubobcats.com/news/2025/4/25/f ... -2025.aspxn addition to the honor of wearing No. 41, Brott received a $5,000 #41 Legacy Scholarship from the Montana Build Group, a residential and commercial construction firm founded and operated by Collins and Brayden Konkol, along with Shane Collins and Josh Konkol. Brayden Konkol, who made the presentation to Brott after Thursday's practice, wore No. 41 in 2019.

Re: Paul Brott-Legacy #41
Brott was not consistently dominant but he was consistently good had some plays last year where he just looked like a man among boys-- like a guy with NFL potential.
Hope he can put it all together and have a dominant senior season.

Wait the article mentions Syracuse and Michigan as teams that also have legacy numbers. I thought the people to the west invented that stuff with their 37 legacy #....

Loved how that wasn't mentioned in the article.

It is fun to see the blank eyed stare when you tell gris fans that they copied the cursive script logo from Montana State....its like they go zombie on you...

The State of Montana is Bobcat country.
missoula....still just 20 miles from Montana.

I have no problem agreeing that we copied the script design. I’m sure glad we did though.Bobcatsinmso wrote: ↑Sat Apr 26, 2025 7:21 amIt is fun to see the blank eyed stare when you tell gris fans that they copied the cursive script logo from Montana State....its like they go zombie on you...![]()

If you want to collect some cool stuff, check out eBay for vintage gris football game programs. I see a lot of classic gris programs for sale there. Search for ‘Montana State football programs’ though, since UM was known as both Montana State and Montana University and various other names. Anyway, I have a rather large collection of Bobcat programs dating back to the 1920s and the artwork on the covers is pretty cool.RainierGriz wrote: ↑Sat Apr 26, 2025 10:19 pmI have no problem agreeing that we copied the script design. Very cool. I’ve come across some archives of the old program covers. Some of the artwork and choices for covered are pretty cool.AFCAT wrote: ↑Sat Apr 26, 2025 10:39 pmIf you want to collect some cool stuff, check out eBay for vintage gris football game programs.
