Junior Adams to NFL
Junior Adams, former Bobcat standout and later a Bobcat coach, has been promoted to receivers coach for the Dallas Cowboys under new head coach Brian Schottenheimer. Congratulations Junior! Last year he was the Co-Offensive Coordinator for the Oregon Ducks. At one time he was receivers coach for EWU when Cooper Kupp was aboard. For those that don't remember him, he was a small 5'8" 168 lb guy with rocket boosters in his legs that became all-conference and HM All-American. He came to Bozeman after their 0-11 season of 2000 and helped turn things around. He caught a 53-yd bomb in the Cat-Griz game in 2002 that helped end the Griz streak. He was fun to watch and hope he does well at the next level!!

I remember the catch as being more of a slant route that he took to the house rather than a bomb but my memory sucks!Catgotmytung wrote: ↑Wed Feb 12, 2025 9:03 amJunior Adams, former Bobcat standout and later a Bobcat coach, has been promoted to receivers coach for the Dallas Cowboys under new head coach Brian Schottenheimer. I will always have the utmost respect for Junior. Some of my family befriended him while he was a player. Later when he was on the Eastern Washington coaching staff, my mom was dying of cancer. Junior took time out of his game day responsibilities to stop by and say goodbye to her. It really meant a lot. He is a class act! I am very happy for him!

Nope, if my memory is correct, he caught it with one had behind his back, did a pirouette in front of the gris bench, flipped off their players, and zig zagged across the field into the end zone. Bobcat athletics is a business to the coaches, school leadership, and players. It's time the fans treat Bobcat athletics as a business too.
