For some reason, I can't get the tweet to show up here, so I'm just putting up the link. Prepare to have some tissues on hand to dab those tears.

Nice perspective. Football is an emotional game and not for the faint of heart.

Ugh...damn that brings back some heart break. But it's a great closure, and a great perspective.
Regardless of how it ended, it was a special season and one I won't' ever forget. The things we accomplished, from a win over an FBS opponent to capping off an undefeated regular season with a dominating victory over our in-state rival, to a record-setting run to the title game. It was, and will always be, a season to remember.
I've been a fan for forty years, and I don't recall a time when everyone -- the fans, the community, the school, the media -- embraced a team so much. It felt like a team of destiny, but maybe the way it ended was our destiny. To pick up the pieces and start over. And maybe, just maybe, next year will be our year.....

Brandon Sullivan has put out some great content, but that may be my favorite. Sports are a microcosm of life. You rarely win the “biggest one,” but in your pursuit of it, you learn so much. You overcome adversity, you learn to go 1-0, you live in the moment, etc. When you pursue winning the way this team has, regardless of the outcome of any one game, you become a winner. I really enjoyed what this production brought out!
