Bryant Meredith Commits

Post by VimSince03 » Thu Jan 23, 2025 4:12 pm

Committed to Northern Arizona in 2022 out of De La Salle High School. Was on the team as a true freshman but it looks like he walked away from football for a year in 2023 then played at Fullerton JC in 2024? Anyway, has inside and outside ability at corner. Again, we needed competitive depth with flexibility at multiple spots and we have two players who can mix it up with the freshman and Carr/Harmon in the secondary.

With the new Juco eligibility rules I like these pick ups. Especially putting some older guys in with the secondary.

First commit the Cats have had from California in a few years. Well, one that actually made it to campus.

Bobcat athletics is a business to the coaches, school leadership, and players. It's time the fans treat Bobcat athletics as a business too.

I see him more as a safety at msu. He's very physical, reminds me of polidore in hs(he played cb). There's no film of him playing man coverage, especially press. We run a lot of press and there's no film of that. Everything he does is cov 4 or cov2, he doesn't have the most fluid of hips to be a cb. I think he would be a great safety, he sees it and he pulls his trigger and gets there with bad intentions. Definitely a replacement for polidore imo.
