Marcus in the run game gets highlighted a lot but in film study his pass pro always shined because of that anchor and his punch. Hes going to the league and will play for a long time.

Interesting that Marcus is lined up at center in the first clip.

A lot of teams want to see him there this week.

Wehr is getting a lot of great attention today from the East-West Shrine practice sessions.

At the Shrine game if a coach asks you "take some snaps at center"...you take snaps at center...Wehr is definitely an NFL lineman...and versatility is a huge asset...NFL teams typically suit up 7 or 8 lineman on game day.

Wehr is on the smaller side for an offensive lineman, so center makes a ton of sense for him. Plus if he can show that he can play all 3 interior spots, he’s got tremendous value as a backup.

Did anyone hear how Hall did at the Hula Bowl? I saw a picture of him on Instagram back before the game but then nothing since.

Phillips is arguably one of the best players at the Shrine bowl...and Marcus just did that to him.

Phillips should go in the top 100

From what I’ve gathered on X, Wehr has won every 1v1 in practice and has made a lot of noise. His draft stock has risen greatly.

Not to start another mind-numbing transfer conversation, but I really want Markus to have a better overall draft than any of the OL that have transfered in the last few years. The coaches can benefit from the narrative of being drafted early/middle of day 3 from MSU is worth significantly more money than the crap NIL bag to G5 or lower competing P4 teams. Stay, develop the right way, and become an All American at the FCS level. Then go get the real money.

Colter has been saying that Wehr is a third-to-fifth-round pick when he was at OT. He also said the move to OG is his best position, but thinks that he'll be a 5th-6th round pick at that position. Looking like he's correct.

Wehr being drafted high would undoubtedly help MSU in terms of recruiting talented players, but I highly doubt that the anecdotal evidence of one player (maybe two if you include Troy) would on its own convince a player to stay for all 4/5 years instead of transferring to chase money and/or playing at a higher level. Montana players like Marcus and Troy will always be more likely to stay, and out-of-state players like Conner Moore and Omar Aigbedion who don't come in with the same pre-existing ties to Montana and MSU and are more likely to leave if they get attractive offers. I don't think that will ever change, which is why we should all be very pleased with how well MSU has done compared to Bobby and the Bubble Boys in terms of winning the in-state recruiting battle this year.

Here is one take on the East/West lineup and NFL draft.

Wehr was honorable mention as was Chism from ewoo.
