It just popped into my head today…has there ever been co-winners for the Payton Award?

If there ever was a year I could see it happening, it would be this year. Of course, I’d love for Tommy to take it outright but both QBs have had excellent seasons and now face each other for the title Monday. Might add to the story line. Let them settle it on the field!

Good question. I would assume there is an odd number of voters, or a tiebreaker so as to prevent co winners, but I don't know that. Speaking of that. does anyone know if there is ant TV or media stream for the banquet tonight? I did a quick search on STATS FCS Banquet and didn't see anything.

A tie is unlikely but possible. The voters rank their choices 1st through 5th and points are assigned according to each vote.

The article says the YouTube link will be posted on Sunday, so I don't think it's a live stream.

What time will it be announced?

I found this, it's a Fargo media outlet and they say the announcement is around 8:30. Assuming that's Central time it should be 7:30 Mountain. They have a live stream link for the announcement but it doesn't appear to have been turned on yet.
