Holy s*** how HORRIBLE were those refs? They made Big Sky refs look good.

I guess the positive thing about them was that if you're going to call absolutely nothing, they at least did it for both teams.

The “We Don’t Call Holding on Anyone Conference”. 7 total penalties for both teams combined has to be close to the minimum record for an entire college game.

Truly atrocious. And I let them know it! "THERE'S A RULE BOOK! YOU CAN READ IT!"

Yeah, they were horrible, but did we get one holding call at all throughout the playoffs? I don't recall any.
The no-call on the blatant block in the back on one of the last punts was egregious. Vigen was giving the business to the ref who was standing right there when it happened.

Get over the referee bashing already. We won the game.

Did anyone see McCade O'Reilly get yanked down by the collar from behind when he was in the backfield to spring a long run? It was so blatent I couldn't believe they didn't call it.

Their unwillingness to call obvious holding was horrible.

Outside of that, they called the game great.

On a positive note, the natural flows of the game occured more often due to no flags, the game overall was shorter, and a victory makes it a trifecta.

Also my takeaway.

Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

Several calls should’ve went against the Cat DBs. The refs were bad, but it was both ways.

I thought there was some extracurricular BS out of bounds a few times. Thought they could call holding whenever they wanted. Aggravating.

Champions don’t make excuses, and talking about refs are excuses. Learn how the refs call a game and adapt.

My biggest problem was early in the game, Theis' knee hit the ground on two different plays and they let him continue running. Was only 2-3 more yards but they were very slow on the whistles all day.
