I'm compiling information for a project I'm working on. The project will center around the influence and mark players/coaches from Butte have made on the history of Bobcat and Griz football. I have a list started, but I would like input from others. Please reply in the thread and help me come up with a comprehensive list.

Have you reached out to Bill Foley? I bet he could give you a pretty comprehensive list.

Mike McLeod ended up playing a couple years in the NFL after finishing at MSU.
Also, Arie Grey grew up in Deer Lodge, but he has been head coach at Butte High for 16 years.
The Hauck family actually has deep roots in Butte before ending up at Big Timber.
If you are serious about the project, stop up at Butte High’s gym. They have turned the halls into a shrine of Butte athletics. Over 100 years of history displayed with trophies and memorabilia throughout the halls.

Also, go see the "Coaches' Corner" at Metal's Bar in Butte. Owned by Bobcats, the Uelands.
