Vigen has been very vague with injuries lately. Probably won't know much or who gets hurt in practice this week...

Polidore maybe worries me the most. He’s a game changer at safety and we’re thin behind him. USD likes to throw it. That could be a weakness they can expose.
Going to rely on next man up more than ever if he’s not able to go and really lean on the pass rush to make life difficult back there so the qb doesn’t have time to take too many deep shots.

Yes if Dru isn't healthy that could be a big loss. I agree the pass rush really needs to show up. They have a solid offensive line so it will be a test for sure.

Happened late in the game, when the cats were up by like 30………. Why he was still playing is frustrating to say the least…

I believe the press conference is happening now, so check Twitter for injury updates.

"Serious" is a relative term. We will see come Saturday.
On that note, I am considering changing my moniker to "Debbie Downer"

Vigen has definitely been deceptive when discussing injuries in public. I wouldn't be shocked either way on Polidore.

Vigen has played the injury updates very close to the vest this year. While as a fan it is certainly frustrating, I can 100% understand why. It makes it difficult to game plan for the opposing team if they are trying to plan around a guy like Scottre or not, and in addition if they do play, you do not want to disclose exactly what is wrong as the opposing team could " target" hitting that area of the body again.

Yeah, I would unfortunately not take this too seriously. I expect we will see Humphrey and Rohan Jones at least a bit in the Semis though. If Humphrey can give us 10 carries or so and Jones could give us 1/3 of the snaps that would be huge in terms of our versatility.

It wouldn't surprise me to see guys like Rohan, Scottre, and Dru suited and ready to go, but not get the start initially. Get a feel for the flow of the game, see if we control outcomes without placing them on the field, and then use them as necessary. I would like to see these guys get a few snaps just to make sure that are able to knock off some rust (i.e. Scottre and Rohan) before the potential of moving on to the next game.

Ya, that press release was really good news. I was worried with the number of players that went out but it sounds like none of them serious... again, unless Vigen is lying.

What did Vigen actually say about Polidore? I listened to the press conference, and I personally thought he evaded the question. He never really answered it. He said something along the lines of, “It was a really long game for him.”
What does that mean?????

Injured on 2 pt conversion. Hit by Pottinger during pass break up. Camera cut away so could not tell if he was limping.

Our seats are in 114, saw the whole play, plus watched him limp off. Was walking VERY slowly and appeared to be in a lot of discomfort. Was an awkward collision.

I saw it too, but Vigen acted genuinely surprised by the question today, not like he was hedging or covering for the fact Polidore might be out. It was at the very tail end of the media availability, after Colter finished his questions. I went into it wondering but honestly I think he's going to be good to go.

Why would he ever talk about the severity of any injury? IMO there is no advantage to advertising that info except to who the Cats are playing. That’s why nobody else does it.
