It seems we've become to confident in our elite team. A team that's 13-0 and dominated nearly every game they've played this year, including Idaho. I get it, we can't get overconfident, but... none of us are playing in this game, and being confident in the best team we've had in decades seems reasonable.

Layne is back for Idaho. He's definitely better than Wagner and Josifek, but he isn't a great QB. Idaho will take deep shots, can the Cats keep them in check? Does the D line treat Layne the same way they treated Wagner/Josifek in the first game? Probably. I'd bet we see early pressure from the LBs to get Layne off schedule.

Tommy torched the Idaho D on the ground in the last meeting. Will Idaho try to limit him? And if they do, how much more will that open things up for the RBs? Will they load the box and let Tommy throw? At this point it's pick your poison for opposing defenses.

We'll see at 7 PM if the gap closes with Layne and a "healthier" Idaho D.

Let's go 1-0, 14-0 and book a spot in the Semis next weekend.

One great thing about this Friday game is that it feels like gameday got here so much faster!! Plus I will be distracted by a normal work day until I sneak out early to make the drive down for kickoff, cannot wait!! Let’s go Cats!

I was thinking twice baked taters....

I’ve got my cold weather gear all packed up along with the hand warmers and some shooters (don’t tell the people at the gate) Ready to rock Bobcat stadium and feast on some twice baked potatoes

I went to Rib and Chop in Great Falls last night for my wife’s birthday, I’m usually a fries or mashed potatoes guy for my side, but their menu specifically said an “Idaho baked potato”… I ordered that and devoured it just to make a statement.

Ha!! That was this years Christmas gift to my wife! She went to the NDSU game with me last year, and nearly froze to death! Now, she’s actually excited to go to games with me

It's the Montana seed potato that makes the Idaho potato famous (as per an old local spud farmer).
