One play

Vigen sees you tomorrow and says, “we need a play that nobody has seen yet. Tell me your play and we will run it.” What is your play?
Mine would be to have Tommy out as a WR. Chance Wilson is the QB, Jones/Scottre/Davis at RB. Tommy comes in motion to the backside of the running back. Fake handoff to RB, pitch to Tommy as he comes around. If open, run like you have never run before. If not, he stops and throws back to Wilson who either runs or throws to the RB who has released and gone down field. TD!!!

I think you just line Patrick Duchien up at quarterback, regardless of what the play is. Bobby will see that 15 and panic.

MSU's base offense is so good that I'd rather not see them try anything too crazy that could turn into a huge negative play if it goes wrong.
I'd vote for a surprise two point conversion attempt after a touchdown like Davis did last week after they scored first. Either hit the Griz with something they aren't expecting and get an extra point on the board, or else force them to burn a time out and then kick the XP.

Illegal formation, 5 men in the backfield. 5 yard penalty, replay 3rd down.

Oh he!!!!! no. Yeah lets put Tommy in a long developing play that is an obvious situation that a defense can see it a mile away and can absolutely TEE OFF on our QB. That would be a no from me dawg.

Julius, Scottre and Adam on the field all at the same time and Tommy throws it to Rohan for a 75 yard TD.

Also this but i read it as one of those at RB, not all 3.

I still think the offense is primed for the old wing-T formation. Two tight ends on the line, Tommy at QB, and Julius, Scottre, and Jones all lined up in the backfield. dUMb won't know who to cover or what hit them.

Or line Perkins up at quarterback, Booby Hauck Tuah hasn't planned for this one either.

No, I’m saying any one of those 3 could be the RB on that play. Not that all three are in.
But, now you got me thinking that maybe a Wildcat with Jones taking the snap with Davis on one side and Scottre on the other.

I'm not so sure. He spent a week prepping for a hurt linebacker to play qb. Not sure why he wouldn't prepare for a hurt center to play qb too....

This right here. I like the idea of doing something similar to what we’ve been doing, but not a completely new trick play that has a high likelihood of failing or getting a penalty or allowing a free shot on Tommy. Our offense is too good as is to dive deep into the trick plays.
Diamond formation like the Choate days. With those 3 RB’s and Tommy, that is a whole lot of running power you’d have to account for.
Do it twice in a row, one with a straight forward handoff to one of the RB’s, then the second time have Rohan going up the seam, unaccounted for, TD.

A pass in the middle of the field? They'll never see it coming.

I read it wrong

Do like Tommy in motion with those 3 in the backfield though.

Not exactly one no one has ever seen but I want to see three RBs in the backfield. Jones takes the snap, dive option to Davis but he pulls it when the DE crashes, pump fakes the pitch option to Humphrey to get the LB to bite, Jones keeps it for 75 yards to the end zone.

At least try the short yardage thing and let Perkins run the ball like the bears used to do with Perry the fridge.

The falcons are on a bye week…on want to see Troy trot out there with the players or on one of the horses and then be one of the honoree captains…just having his presence on the field will ruin any of Hauck antics he has planned.

I remember how great the diamond formation worked against the gris 7 or 8 years ago. Maybe run out of that?
