Stand up and cheer — Cat-Griz Week is here!
Montana State University will celebrate its longstanding and beloved Cat-Griz football rivalry with events throughout the week of Nov. 18. Events are open to all Bobcat fans:
Watch Parties
Across the nation, MSU and UM alumni, friends and fans are expected to gather at more than 90 locations to watch the Brawl of the Wild together. A complete list of watch parties hosted by the MSU Alumni Foundation can be found at msuaf.org/catgrizwatchparty. Online registration will close on Friday, Nov. 22; walkins are also welcome.
Can the Griz Food Drive
Saturday, Nov. 9–Saturday, Nov. 23
A friendly off-field competition to see which school can collect the most donations for their local food bank. You can help us Can the Griz by dropping off non-perishable food items at one of these locations, or by making a tax-deductible gift to the MSU Student Food Pantry Bounty of the Bridgers. Each dollar donated counts as 1 pound of food.
Bobcat Brawl Bingo
Bobcat fans are invited to play Bobcat Brawl Bingo wherever they’re watching the game. Participants who get a bingo, snap a photo and share it on social media will be entered to win a 40-ounce Bobcat tumbler. The giveaways and event are hosted by the MSU Alumni Foundation. Rules may be found online at msuaf.org/bingo. Registration is required by Wednesday, Nov. 20.
MSURA, OLLI and MOLLI Annual Brawl of the Wild Lecture
Wednesday, Nov. 20 | 4–6 p.m.
The MSU Retirees & Associates, the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute of MSU and the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute of Montana will host their annual Cat-Griz partnership event during the week of the Brawl of the Wild. This hybrid event will explore how NILs – or name, image and likeness – are transforming the landscape of collegiate athletics and rewriting the playbook for Montana's two largest universities. Register here by Tuesday, Nov. 19.
