Big Sky Pick'em Week 7
Conference standings starting to sort itself out. Opportunities to shake it up this week.
NAU 24 @ 32 UM --- This game has suddenly has more intrigue with the direction of each team this season. NAU moving up and UM sliding down. Missoula is a tough place for visitors to win and this home field advantage gives UM the edge. I thought this last week and ended up wrong, but I will do it again.
PSU 17 @ 31 ISU --- The Vikings could not get the W at home last weekend: What makes me think they will get one on the road? And the Bengal dome can be a hard place to play for visiting teams.
CP 17 @ 35 UC Davis --- After squeeking out a road win last weekend, UC Davis returns home to take on an in-state rival. The Aggies should easily win this one.
NC 13 @ 38 Weber State --- The BBQ has a pattern of winning every other game. (Or is it losing every other game) To continue that pattern they will need to lose. But this is in Odgen against the celler dewellar.
EWU 24 @ 34 Sac --- Both teams coming off of a bye. Sac needs to get some W's to help impress the Pac and MW for a conference invite.
UI 20 @ 28 MSU --- Idaho in another FCS game of the week candidate. MSU finally getting something tougher than a cupcake.

I'd very much like um to take another L. And while I'd like the same for CD, I think that unlikely given how Cal Poly is playing.
griz fans; keeping it classy and gracious in winning since ... well, never.

Re: Big Sky Pick'em Week 7
I was ridiculed and stoned last week for daring to say don’t sleep on Cal Poly. ISU needed a late FG to win. CP scored more points on ISU than MSU did. UC Davis will most likely win but don’t be surprised if the Stangs hang. Davis 31, CP 23
Neither MSU nor Idaho has cracked 30 points in their last four meetings. MSU 28, Idaho 17
NAU has a history of rolling over for UM. I think NAU’s QB is out. UM 44, NAU 13
ISU 31, PSU 14
Weber 23, UNC 14
SAC 42, EW 38

MSU - 16 team National Champions (most recent 2024); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

While CP scored more they gave up way more and over 400 yards passing. When you do that you get more possessions and more chances to score.TomCat88 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2024 5:25 pmI was ridiculed and stoned last week for daring to say don’t sleep on Cal Poly. Re: Big Sky Pick'em Week 7
Can the gris keep scoring 40+?
Can the gris keep teams under 50?
NAU wins at Montana
ISU thumps Portland St
UCDavis will roll Cal Poly
Weebs will beat uncu
Pam St will beat ewooo

Re: Big Sky Pick'em Week 7
Will be shocked if the gris don't "circle the wagons" and find a way to get past NAU. Assume it will still be a close game, and definitely would bet the over on total score, if I were a betting man... That said, if NAU does win, I'll have my popcorn ready.
Haven't participated in any prediction threads this season yet, but I see the games this week as follows:
gris
ISU
UCD
WSU
CSUS
MSU (duh)

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

I'd love to see it but there's no way the griz drop 2 straight at home.
