Re: Over unders for BSC
I assume this is regular season only and wouldn't include playoff losses.
Griz: Under 3.5 losses, I think they win out until Cat/Griz
Idaho: Over 2.5 losses, this will hopefully happen on Saturday
Cats: Seeded lower than 2.5, unless MSU goes 12-0 you just know that the committee will bend over backwards to get SDSU and NDSU into the top two spots even if they shouldn't be there.
Davis: Over 2.5 losses, I see them losing two of three @UM, @Sac, and vs MSU.
Sac: Over 4.5 losses, if they lose in Bozeman they'd need to win all their other games to go 8-4.
UNC: Under 0.5 wins. Their best chance was at home against Cal Poly and they still lost by 21!
NAU: Over 6.5 wins, they have a very favorable schedule the rest of the way.
BSC playoff teams: Over 3.5, I see MSU/UM/Idaho/Davis all getting in pretty comfortably. The more interesting question is if they'll all be seeded in the Top 16.
Griz: Under 3.5 losses, I think they win out until Cat/Griz

Over - Even if the gris get it going I think they'll drop at least two more
Over - They gonna lose on Saturday
Over - the committee will job the Cats and give 1 and 2 to the xdsus
Over - Davis gonna Davis
Over - Sac gonna sac
Over - Ed Lamb is a good coach and will eek out a win against...someone. maybe PSU if they catch the viks napping?
Under - I only see 4 winnable games left on their schedule
Over - I expect MSU, the gris, David, and the Spuds to get in

Read an article that indicated if the Griz lose one more their playoff hopes may be dashed. They'll lose their last game of the season, and maybe NAU, so I'm thinking MSU, Idaho, Davis may be the only ones.rfischer94 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2024 1:09 pmOver - Even if the gris get it going I think they'll drop at least two more

Hmmm, I think there's a zero percent chance the Griz get left out of the playoffs at 9-3. Granted, they're not getting a first round bye with that record and likely going on the road but they're in the playoffs.nanacat wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2024 1:58 pmRead an article that indicated if the Griz lose one more their playoff hopes may be dashed. Re: Over unders for BSC
At 9-3 they might get a #16 seed and get to host a game before going to the #1 seed, 8-4 the still get in but probably go on the road first round. I'n not sure right now that NAU, UCD and PSU are all W's for them even though they are all at home. It looks like they have some major problems in the backend that need to be fixed, since its already half way through the season I doubt they have a fix.catatac wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2024 2:51 pmHmmm, I think there's a zero percent chance the Griz get left out of the playoffs at 9-3. Re: Over unders for BSC
A 9-3 BSC team is somewhere between #7 - #12. A 9-3 Gris team is somewhere between #8 - #10. Depending on how the rest of the season shakes out it's entirely possible there's at least 1 top 8 team with a 9-3 record. Wouldn't be surprised to see 2 or 3.cats2506 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2024 3:27 pmAt 9-3 they might get a #16 seed and get to host a game before going to the #1 seed, 8-4 the still get in but probably go on the road first round. Re: Over unders for BSC
Probably a doomsday perspective, and I could have read it wrong with it maybe talking about hosting a playoff game. Knowing what their stadium draws for crowds I suppose they'll get to host just for the $$ aspect.BleedingBLue wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2024 3:29 pmA 9-3 BSC team is somewhere between #7 - #12. I think any 9-3 team out of the MVFC or Big Sky will be very safely inside the top 16 seeds by the end of the year.

Re: Over unders for BSC
ditto, dUM will probably host a game if they are 8-4 and for certain if 9-3...I mean if they are 9-3 the only game they loose this year will be to the #1 or #2 team in the nation so they will get some help there...

Ya, if there was really an article out there saying the Griz are in danger of not making the playoffs at 9-3, I wanna see it - and let the writer know they need to be better. LOL.
Great time to be a BOBCAT!

Found the article... this is the opening paragraph "Say goodbye to home-field advantage throughout the FCS playoffs again this season."
I got it wrong, sorry.
This is the article, but it's behind a paywall
