I’ve said this before. But, as a fan the garbage teams are getting really old. I’m already finding myself not going to those games. But! In terms of playoffs and a national championship run, they are perfect. Get the D1 wins in September and play the best of the best in December and January.
Hating the griz since 02.

The perspective I have developed on that situation is that it is a good time to do some tuning up. At the same time not divulge too much of your game plan as things get more competitive. Stay healthy and improve as the season goes along.

The right now mentality is too much sometimes. One season ago we played one of the toughest schedules in the country. We all knew that UNM was going to be a challenge and then we could work on our base stuff until conference games started. I’m pretty darn sure that the team has run our base stuff so much that they’re able to do it sleep walking. The coaches will run through the scripted plays to see how opponents will defend us. Adjustments will be made. Nothing exotic will be revealed until Idaho rolls into town.

After going 0-11 and enjoying most of that season, their isn't a game I won't enjoy. It is highly satisfying to be a premier team, and have teams that seem easy to wipe the floor with.
