Not a fan of these sports reporters going out of their way to keep bringing up Zac's high school controversy. Not sure if they're doing it because they want him and Vigen to have to continually defend themselves for something they'll hold against him forever or if their employers are making them pile on, or worse if they're afraid of what some of their brain-dead readers will think of them if they don't bring it up.

Agree. The reporter in this case was obnoxious.

There were multiple people that brought it up across the two interviews, maybe all of them, including Colter. To be charitable, maybe they all plan on writing their own articles about a redemptive story (which I feel like some of them have done already) but this is the second or third time since he started playing, not just since he joined the team, that they've done this.

Crews no-interview sanction was lifted today by the school/team and he was interviewed by basically the same group. I believe that was before they interviewed Vigen. Vigen seemed prepared for the question.

You’d have to be a pretty piss poor reporter to not ask Crews about it.

I love that the media asked those questions because Zac was able to give a thoughtful and mature response that shows that he has grown up a lot since making that terrible mistake in high school. A lot of people even on this board were pretty wary of MSU giving him another chance, so I think it's important for him to address what happened and not just ignore it. I love watching him play, great talent and seems to just make plays.

I absolutely love that his tooth fell out during the game and he spit it out in the field, but then went and found it after the game?!?! Then he says "yeah I got to see the dentist this week".

I remember a kid I played football with in High school losing a contact lens during a game. Since it was a grass field, he kicked out a divit near where he thought he lost it and came back when the game was over and actually found the lens. It was a night game too, must have been a one in a million shot locating it.

Sounds like Crews is in need of a dental implant, not glue. Maybe there’s an advertisement opportunity there ? I feel he should inform those in the media who bring up his “mistake” that he has already addressed that situation and is not going to discuss it further.

I thought the answer was spot on. Sure he can say he won't talk about it, but he owned it and made a great response.

That’s one of the best interviews I’ve ever seen. It has everything. Serious, funny, informative…

Great interview! The young man’s a stud player, answered maturely and thoughtfully. Proud he’s at Montana State and playing for the Cats! Bright future!

Zak looks like a hockey player with that smile. There has to be a dentist in need of some good advertising. There's a great NIL opportunity.

I completely agree. He addressed the uncomfortable issue that needed attention and handled it well by acknowledging the serious mistake he made as a young man.
