I wonder what this will mean for ticket costs next year. I'd love to see MSU institute a "buy 6, get one free!" offer but somehow I doubt this will happen. That 2025 Mercyhurst game might be the least attended "sell out" in Bobcat Stadium history. 4 home games in a row is a LOT for those of us who travel from out of town!

San Diego + Mercyhurst already barely equal one FCS team so they shouldn't charge us extra.

No Sac St, no Idaho so miss out on most likely 2 of the top 4 or 5 teams in conference. Also,
No Portland Pertussises

These schedules with two weaker teams is right out of NDSU’s early championship run. They’d sign up a beatable FBS team (they could sneak up on them more then) and two teams like Mercyhurst or Pioneer league teams. They’d get to conference play with a quality win and mostly healed up and rested up. The 2025 schedule is complicated by having 12 games again permitting the FBS Oregon game, and another matchup with the Jackrabbits. Nothing simple about those two. Oregon is a bit tougher than some of the early NDSU FBS victims.

NOPE. look at it as two bye weeks.

That Oregon game is going to be a bloodbath... But I'll still go because I was born an Oregonian and graduated a Bobcat. Should be a good time, regardless!
And while highly unlikely, a home game with San Diego would be a great trip. Fly down, see my brother, spend some time paddling Mission Bay, get some sun, and watch some Bobcat football. Perhaps the Cats will find a way to schedule SDSU at some point.

I suggested something similar at urgent care with stitches. It didn't take.

Finally we get a gris schedule next year...and they get all the tough teams!
