Re: Hot Takes
I agree with this too. First of all it’s a home game and I think this is the game they take the bridle off Tommy and turn him loose. He’s no good to the team injured on the sidelines, but he’s also no good being used at 20% of his capabilities. Idaho is not a bad team, I just really believe the Cats are better.

Re: Hot Takes
Home crowd probably gives us 6-7 points, and I just think we’re better than them. People give them more credit for beating Wyoming than us beating New Mexico, which makes no sense to me, Wyoming looks absolutely terrible so far. Our defense is improved, should be healthier by then, and we have more offensive weapons.

Re: Hot Takes
Bobcats send not 1, not 2, not 3 but 4 players to the either the Senior Bowl or Shrine bowls. I think Wehr and Hall go to the Senior and Grebe and one other player go to the Shrine.
Cats due to being 12-0 get the #1 seed.

I seriously don’t get the love of beating a catatonic Wyoming. I get the close game against Oregon, however, if you look at the stat line of that game it tells a very different story.BelligerentBobcat wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 3:11 amHome crowd probably gives us 6-7 points, and I just think we’re better than them. I predict that on Monday, January 6, 2025 @ 6 p.m. CST I will be chugging my last beer before walking to my seat in Toyota Stadium (Section 110, Row 17, Seat 13) with my brother, son, and friend to watch my Cats take on the NDSU Buffaloes for the National Championship of the NIL Farm Team Division.

Re: Hot Takes
Yea, before their game against Albany I listened to a clip on social media from some radio station who had Idaho at #1 and was asking who has a better resume than Idaho? Like they were 1-1 with a win over Wyoming and a loss to Oregon. MSU was 3-0 with an FBS win and two dominating FCS wins. I'll take that resume any day.SparkCat wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 7:54 amI seriously don’t get the love of beating a catatonic Wyoming. MSU Hot Take: By the end of this season, the demons of 2023 will be exorcised, the kicking game will be a strength for MSU and they'll win at least one game largely because of it.
Big Sky Hot Take: Northern Arizona will finish 3rd in the Big Sky behind MSU and UM, and advance to the playoff quarterfinals.

The Ducks had injuries on the o-line the first two games but got everyone back for Oregon State and it showed in the running game and pass pro.SparkCat wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 7:54 amI seriously don’t get the love of beating a catatonic Wyoming. Stupid mistakes against Boise and a bad Herbert turnover should have made that game against a good Boise team an upset loss, but they pulled it out at the end.

Agree. My hot take is that the Cats take down the Bison in Bobcat Stadium during the playoffs - avenge the disaster that happened last year.BelligerentBobcat wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 9:38 amI think the hot take here is the Bison being there.PortlandCat90 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 7:56 amI predict that on Monday, January 6, 2025 @ 6 p.m. CST I will be chugging my last beer before walking to my seat in Toyota Stadium (Section 110, Row 17, Seat 13) with my brother, son, and friend to watch my Cats take on the NDSU Buffaloes for the National Championship of the NIL Farm Team Division.

I mean, it's a hot take thread...

Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

I think Idaho is the best team in the conference at this point. If/Once the 'Cats get back a few key players that may switch. Even with them playing their 2nd & 3rd string QBs, they've played tough against good opponents and come away with wins. Gonna be a great game on ESPN2 if both teams have their true #1s playing in that game.BelligerentBobcat wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 3:11 amHome crowd probably gives us 6-7 points, and I just think we’re better than them. Re: Hot Takes
Beat them on a walk off extra point would be pretty sweet, but I'd love to hang a 55-10 score on them someday.catatac wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2024 11:27 amAgree.
